Our 15th annual 3rd week in June, Juniata fishing trip was a success. The fun began catching bait in the local creek down the road on Friday, unfortunately the bait was all but lost by Saturday morning. Saturday we had three boats fishing the Juniata River near Little Mexico, PA. The fishing was slow but some Smallmouth Bass, Rock Bass and Chubs kept up moral until Chris Hazel from State College, PA landed the elusive Walleye, Saturday pool winner. Sunday the fishing picked up as seven Trash Fisherman hit the Tuscarora Creek at Port Royal, PA. Dave Shaver with a beautiful Rainbow Trout. Chris Borowski with a beautiful Palomino Trout. Bobby Ciacco live lining crayfish was a Smallmouth Bass catching machine. Dan the wonder plumber with the biggest sucker I've seen in years. Bob Alexander and Jack had their fair share of fun as well. Congratulations Boys! A Special Thanks goes out to Shaver & Daniels Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning for providing the accomadations. Third week in June couldn't come too soon.

7/13 & 7/14/04 Chris Borowski and Frank Mason had two excellent days of Flounder fishing inside of Townsend Inlet. The fish are there, and the weather hasn't hurt the bite. After severe Monday evening rains we caught dozens of Flounder each day on the outgoing morning tide. Double headers were the norm and not the exception, Flounder, Sea Bass, and Sea Robins. We put seven healthy Flatties in the cooler on Tuesday and three on Wednesday. The throwback ratio was high but keeper Flatties do swim by.
Two thumbs way up for Knoebles. The park was fantastic, great rides, food, fishing, and camping. We found turtles, snakes, and had a pajama parade with 30 - 40 kids. I've got lots of pictures, here's one. A great place for family and fun. This picture was taken 7/21/04 just outside the park and camping area. The girls needed a break from taking the kids to the water park everyday so in TFC style we took em to the creek for a day of fishing and fun.
8/4/04, Today Valerie caught her first ever flatfish in the backwater of Avalon. Fat Frank discovers his genetic missing link. The brat says "someone owes me a dollar". Congatulations, two (TFC) elite!
8/20/04, Port Indian, Schuylkill River. Trash Fisherman alert: Valerie lands another winner. On a day of big fish get away, Valerie lands a pool winner. "Dad I'm snagged" the fish was jumping out of the water on my side of the boat, Valerie fishing under the boat, "reel em in," she reeled. Congratulations Valerie!
10/9/04, what a wonderful time of the year to go fishing. I'd like to start by thanking Ken (Speedo) Daniels for tolerating eight obnoxious drunks over the weekend. The last open sea trip of the season, everyone caught fish, Flounder, Sea Bass, Croaker, Bluefish, Porgy, Amberjack, and loads of Triggerfish. Chris, Hazel, and Cioco showing off some of many Triggerfish caught by everyone aboard the Gallant Lady. Bob Cioco made the board at Harborview Marina with the largest Sea Bass of the year 4.8lbs. and Alexander with one of many Sea Bass caught through the day. Bob Cioco with his pool winning Bluefish, He also won second and third place as well. So how was the 2004 season, in a word "FANTASTIC", keep on fishin. Until next season Cheers!
