July 2004 Guess The Fish Contest Answer & Winner This month's fish was a Permit(Trachinotus falcatus), similar to the Florida Pompano and sometimes reffered to as a round or great pompano. It is an important game fish;usually fished for with spinning rodand light line. Much less important comercially than the pompano. It ranges form Mass. to SE Brazil, including Bahamas and many of the West Indies. This months winner is Jim and Sean Brogan from Drexel Hill, Pa.
