September 2004 Guess the Fish Contest Answer & Winner This month's fish is a little tunny/false albacore.Ranges from Massachusetts to n. Gulf of Mexico to Brazil;also in the East atlantic. Common offshore, but also occurs regularly in bays and over reefs. Probably the most common tuna in the West Atlantic. Popular sport fish, edible but very strong flavored. Also used as bait for marlin. Occurs in large schools. This months winner is Robert Hills from Pitman, NJ.
