September 2005 Guess the Fish Contest Answer & Winner This months fish is an Atlantic Lookdown.The Atlantic lookdown occurs on both sides of the Atlantic;in the western Atlantic it is known to range from Uruguay to Massachusetts and at Bermuda. They grow to about 10-12 inches.they are caught by casting artificial lures, such as small 1/8-1/4 ounce jigs and streamer flies in open bays, and also around docks at night in Florida. Also caught in cast nets sometimes right here in the local New Jersey waters. This months winner is Gary Schultz from Dunnellon, Florida.
