5/2/09 Ken Cooper writes: "The stripers I caught a couple of weeks ago and the smooth dog fish I caught Saturday, all in the Great Bay. I also caught a short striper and my son caught an undersized fluke, out of season. We threw all back along with some good sized skates. Clam bait and clam chum was used. The two stripers were legal and we threw back about eight shorts. The season is changing and the blues and weakfish should be showing up soon. That chum really works. Got the fish near the top of the high tide and then we packed it in."
